Beastbane vs. Akiva [Training/Solo]

Mana: 1445

The man with the blue hair and ice blue eyes woke up in his apartment on the fourth floor of the building in Hosenka. He lived alone, didn't much care for a girl at this point in his life even though that had been different before hand, before he had changed or maybe you could call it morph back into the way he was before. Cold, arrogant and no longer cared about the opinion of the world. Sure the opinion of the Rune Knights did matter as well as the Royal Knights for he rather did not end up in prison. Technically you might even call him innocent as it was his father that had made him this way as it was. Made him the cold blood killer that he had become, made him Beastbane Xerxes. It had taken three years if not longer to get back to a point that Akiva had no longer looked behind him to see the ugly past, for it wasn't really pretty. He had worked three years or longer to make himself sane again. He couldn't describe how it felt and what he did for Beastbane had not paid attention to this part. He had known it was futile as well as just plain stupid. Beastbane had been brought down into a slumber while Akiva fought for the reality that he wanted to hold himself so dear too that he was innocent. That he had played it wrong that he had protected himself too much, because he had been afraid for his father Joram Xerxes and true that had been a good point but he had still killed and rather easily too. There was no way to deny that. He had been weak instead of picking his own opinion and not do what he didn't want to do, he simply had done it. That made him just as bad as any other murderer as well as Joram Xerxes. There was no way in denying that. But Beastbane had known better, there was a way that he was evolved out of the events, there was something that Joram had done, he couldn't fully remember but it contained memories of a dark room and a chair on which he was sitting on but he chouldn't leave the chair whenever he wanted. His wrists and ankles were strapped on it, he had screamed and cried and whenever he thought about the memory he could feel the agonizing pain through his body and mainly his head. That's why he tried to ignore it most of the time. He would get a headache from it and he preferred not to have it.

the man was still in bed, he was now twenty-three almost turning twenty-four if you counted the months, he was getting closer to it. He had spend eighteen years under the reign of his father, the terror. Since he was a child, Akiva had to fight for his existence and become closer to his father, which had been a horrible idea since his dad had changed him into his right hand murdering machine. He almost let himself snicker why he lay in his bed because of the term murdering machine. He should stop thinking about this. He didn't mind that he was slowly turning back to his insane point again, thanks to the adventure he had had with Lilith in the caves in the mountains of Hosenka. He remembered the Darkness that seemed to have awaken himself again, how he become himself again, away from the sane lessons that his other half had taught himself to work it all out. He thought about the adventure in the cave, where he had to fight skeletons to keep on walking and finding the exit, after that he had only seen Lilith after they managed to get out but from that point on she had been rather silent, she probably suspected he would know how to go on and that he had to find his bearings again now he was himself again. He thought about the Darkness lessons that she had taught him. She had been one, she had been the Darkness, she was the one that had opened him up for what the world had become and what part he had been about it.

He closed his ice blue eyes again, to vividly remember the lessons, how he had to focus on the magic. He never had a magic in himself that he had to produce himself, that he really had to do something. He remembered that he had to think of his first spells, where he might not even had focused on defending himself in any other matter than just simply cloak himself with the magic, which had made things difficult. He had been excited but instead of showing it like Akiva had always done, Beastbane simply had grinned while he cloaked himself, where he veiled himself or where he teleported through the area just to get somewhere else. He wasn't ready yet to fight or become someone else entirely, the hiding that Akiva had done was admirable. He was a fugitive but not that clearly visible as the others, his looks and name were unknown apart from Xerxes, it was Beastbane that was known but it wasn't a real name and no one would tell how he looked for he could explain that he was innocent. Though he doubted himself if he was innocent. The man on the bed grinned as he thought about it but concentrated on his memories again. He remember the hand that Lilith had put up that was surrounded by darkness magic to show him how she knew to control everything again. She had shown such a power that he wondered if she was ancient and maybe stronger than this body showed to him. He himself had come far but not yet far enough. He had no control over his first four summons and he couldn't bear any physical damage, so it wouldn't be too bad to train that some day soon. But the first spell he had to sort of train, which had been difficult was the Crystal of Anti-matter. He had to think about the concept in his head, how did he want it to look. So he choose from the card games, the poker cards with the diamonds on it, it took him another little while before the diamond was a little bigger than just his thumb, before it was one meter in height and thirty centimeters width at the widest point. The diamond shape had become quite a piece bigger before he finally had launched it into the no where to see the damage that it would do. He had doubt Lilith would praise him, she never seemed to be interested in him. Maybe because he became Beastbane again and his old thoughts had came back into action he understood that she had only used him as shield, but there was something in her blue eyes that had changed when he had woken in that cave and before he would be able to get out. That was his first spell that had come with difficulty but a lot more followed.

Some people were afraid in the dark but Akiva had liked it. Since he was a child, he didn't do much of hiding, his father didn't allow it. Would call him a coward if he got the chance but sitting in the darkest corner of either the attic or the basement, where no one could see him, had been some sort of a blessing. His mother was alright and even though he had not realized it, she was not able to protect him on her own. He had no idea of the beating that took place between his mother and his father. Joram seemed to have hit her often but she managed to pull it off because he never hit her on a place that would be visible such as her face. He had only seen it once, the urge to kill had been that big that he had immediately killed Joram as an effect on what he did to his mother. Festival was the only one that seemed to care for him so he wouldn't let Joram take her away. He actually wondered if the marks on her neck did leave, he couldn't remember but neither could he remember if she was ever wearing a scarf.

The blue haired man sat up straight in his bed and still stroked the little body of the cat that Akiva had adopted, Karou was her name. He wasn't so good with cats to be fair but he would manage, he didn't plan to throw the little cat out. He had been an outcast of his own body and mind, so he knew how it felt and besides she already came from the streets. Akiva had taken care of her for a long time before he took her into the house, which she never left anymore. He got up by throwing off the bed sheets from his body and sit on the rim of the bed. He thought again about the black cave, many people probably got nightmares of it, if they even got out of there. He wondered where the stories came from. It was said that no one survived, but than who told that story. Of course it could be a camp of archaeologists that was waiting for the adventures to return but when they didn't after many days, you could assume they were dead. Well they were, if the skeletons were the bodies of the non survivors. Maybe that's why the skeletons fought him and Lilith, not to join them in the dark side of the dead but clinging to the two people that were alive in the cave to get out of there too. He actually never learned so much about the dead and never thought about it too much until now it seemed. Sure he learned how to save souls but that was the most important thing that he had done and with that the only thing that he had done if you didn't count the simple killing. He wondered if the Rune Knights as well as the Royal Knights still really cared for it, it were mostly criminals after all that he killed, traitors and greedy people, the knights should be glad that he got ride of such filth in the world.

He still had a lot of summons to make and he might work with that later today because it sounded like a great idea. He could take the souls in a bag and move towards the forest, maybe even towards the cave to make them in perfect harmony. No one wanted animals like a panther or a raccoon. He could have never been more silly than when he was Akiva Versaillus as he would like to call himself. Running away from the true hero that he had become. He had been a pawn of his father, only to become the master of the game himself. He had killed the king in the chess board. The white king while he was the white bishop. He had it coming and he deserved it, he deserved to die and so Beastbane gave him the opportunity and Joram simply took it. It had been a rush of power that Akiva couldn't explain later, it must have been some sort of step into the future, they were stronger now, they would be stronger forever. Beastbane would make sure of that, he would take the lead, he would stay at this point and simply take the lead and become the man he was foretold to be by himself. The one that killed and would be able to kill his father himself. The man that he had wanted to become when he was younger but now he despised him and he didn't mind that he killed him. He had been brainwashed, it had been Joram his fault, not them, they were a pawn, a piece in the chess game.

He thought about all the spells he still wanted to train, which he had done with Lilith at his side at the mountain, where the cave was. Where he would return today. The dissonant Globe that had actually been rather easy to create, just an orb that started to become a little bigger every time he looked at it, until he reached the point that he wanted. Around 75 centimeters in diameter, which had been quite a size and it had been levitating above his right hand. It had looked so intruding, even to himself. It was beautiful, how the shadows in there were moving like little ghosts and maybe they were, aspects of the souls that he had contained and put in himself and in the little jars on the mantel piece. It had been a beautiful thing that worked perfectly well with destruction, maybe not good enough but he was going for getting stronger, it would come, one at a time. He first had to become better at his Darkness Spells and create those Summons that he had waited for. The Hydra, the Medusa and Arachnea for example, he couldn't wait. Which brought the same mischief grin to his face that he had been waiting for.

Yes he would definitely head to the mountains, it was saver there than the training grounds. The training grounds where he had taken Scáthach, it was a miracle he could remember the red head, maybe she had done something to him, he would figure it out later, when it was important for right now it wasn't. She didn't matter to him, she would be just a pawn on the chess board if he would ever see her again. Still there was something in his heart, something piercing that said she would be more than a pawn in his life, but that was probably Akiva speaking. If Beastbane would have to choose for someone as his significant other it would probably be Lilith. They seemed to understand each other a lot better than someone like Scáthach. He didn't feel like talking about it and he would better work on something else than sit here on the edge of his bed thinking about what he had done and what he should do for it turned him lazy. He should rather get up, shower, eat, and head down to the cave. He had trained another time at the training grounds, but he couldn't remember, he wondered if it was more important than he had thought at first. He shrugged and indeed got up to walk to the shower, he ignored the surprise mew of the cat, he would feed her later if he still could find food in this damned house, kitchen perhaps?

Maybe Beastbane figured out that he wasn't such a morning sunshine as Akiva had been. Akiva had gone to bed on time when he was in power to this body and he would be an early to rise kind of person. It was probably a lot healthier than how Beastbane worked, but he was a night person, a night monster, a beast. He simply worked that way. He would do something during the day, something that was essential for later and he would either watch the lacrima screen in the evening if he thought he had done enough for today or he would do research on monsters and stuff. Now he hadn't been in this body for long, it couldn't be more than a month and in this month he had realized he was some sort of schizophrenic. Schizophrenic might not be the right word but on the other hand it was if you had another voice in your head. The other person was only not another identity it was the other version of himself. Akiva Xerxes, the sane person, the holy spirit of the two of them, the angel versus the devil. In which the devil was him Akiva Xerxes but the one that didn't mind the killing. It probably happened because of the killing, that's how he came to life. It was either a splitting of his soul the two versions of himself during the killing. The one that didn't mind and the one that did or it was like a curse, he had become a total different person. Although they still liked the same things food wise for example. It only changed them in personality a little. Akiva had always been rude and a liar but he had tried his best to become better at it and he had done his best, proof was his caring for Scáthach and look at him now. If the red head would pop up he might just push her away if he wasn't able to change her into a pawn. Which made him shiver, the other him. It made it too difficult.

It was already near the afternoon, around eleven am when he finally left the bedroom. He had to shower, he had to wake up and get rid of the sleep that was still in his eyes and body. Especially if he wanted to do a lot of stuff today as train some new summons. He must not forget to pack those books in his back or was it only one? He had borrowed about a month ago a book in the library of Blue Pegasus and he should definitely bring that back before he would have to pay for it but he didn't plan to pay for anything at the moment. Sure he wouldn't steal and bring attention to himself, there was only one reason why Akiva joined Blue Pegasus and it wasn't because he was vain, because he was. It was because no one ever paid attention to the beauties of Blue Pegasus, Robin Goodfellow pulled himself back from a fight to not hurt his pretty face. It had been obvious and that's why Beastbane had decided that Akiva his plan to stay hidden here in Hosenka was a real smart plan.

The Blue haired mage dropped his clothes in the laundry basket and fixed the water of the shower to the right temperature after a visit to the toilet. He would rather go for a cold shower that would wake him up properly. He would normally take long showers, from around half an hour to longer but he didn't have much time. So as soon as the water woke him up, he started to look for the shampoo to wash his blue hair, he checked if he had to shave, for it was smart to do that while showering and worked that out. He washed his body pretty quickly and in around twenty minutes he was able to shut off the water again. He went to find a towel that was still dry and clean and managed to dry himself off but he sure had to do the laundry which seemed so small and insignificant to everything that he wanted to do in the world. For example the name of his spells were even better than doing the laundry and that said something because his spells weren't even that awesome. The harvester scythe for example, it wasn't even a scythe, it just bore the name because of the crescent shaped attack that it had. It was around 60 centimeter width and it was like a curve that went from a bigger size in the middle to pointy ends of around 3 to 5 centimeters. He didn't know, he actually didn't care as long as it worked. He started to think about how he almost cut off a branch of a tree if he hadn't done that really. He should try it again now. He worked his way with the towel and dried himself off, dumping it into another laundry basket and moving to the bedroom across the hall to start to dress. Put on some okay clothes to train in. He would find his shoes later, he first had to feed a cat as well as himself, alright after he did the laundry. It wasn't that difficult he had his own lacrima and washing machine and he had enough rent to pay to have that thing working. He liked luxury maybe a little too much. He would start doing the towels now and would work out the clothing later, it wasn't that important after all. Thank god he was alone and he didn't own too much stuff for towels and clothing so the washing machine was never totally full, saved a lot of dirty laundry in the laundry basket. When he had that up and running he could go to the kitchen/living room to feed a hungry kitty cat that was mewing very loudly.

Was Akiva less brave than Beastbane was? Possibly, he possibly was a coward. Although Beastbane himself rather did not spend his days in prison either, he would have simply run through the country and go wherever he wanted, instead of hiding in a baby guild such as Blue Pegasus. But it didn't matter for now anymore. Akiva had fought the first three years, that meant that Beastbane had to do with what there was now. He rather liked this apartment, it was good, not too big but neither too small. He liked being in control of the body more but that also meant that he had to pay attention to the things that looked so insignificant to him, such as buying food and keeping check of what was still in the house. With a pair of jeans around his legs, a dark blue t-shirt and black socks he slide right into the kitchen, sometimes being a bit too childish. But that made sense if you were just a thought, a phantom before and now you could do whatever you wanted to do. He grinned when he entered the kitchen like he was snowboarding maybe. There was a little black cat running after him, hoping to get some food and it was actually nice to have a little companion. He should actually teach Karou a few things so she could really be a companion, he could actually use an companion. But he would rather have one that could talk or so, would make it a little less lonely. On the other hand he had his own summons that could do that, if only he was able to summon them.

He first went to work on the cat food to satisfy Karou before he walked a little away from the kitchen into the living room that was immediately connected to it, there was only a wall going through half of the room in a horizontal way to divide the living room from the kitchen. He focused his energy on his magical power to make sure that he was a hundred percent sure that it wasn't his magic that was blocked. He could feel it in the air around him, stroking through his blue hair and past his arms and legs, it gave him goosebumps on his arms. He focused himself on the raccoon, the procyon lotor that he wanted to summon. He started to frown to concentrate even better but nothing happened, although it felt like he was draining his magical power so he stopped not too much later because it was a little obvious that it wasn't working anymore. Which made him maybe a little grumpy. He had planned to train with his summons but maybe he wasn't a summoner anymore and did the cave, the darkness steal his summoning power, his summons. He had been able to use them in the cave, he had used Liam, the procyon lotor and Pam, the panthera onca. He frowned and crossed his arms and think. There was no solution for now and he tried to remember if he had used his summons after he got out of the cave but the answer was no. He had only used Darkness magic, after the fight between him and Akiva had been over Lilith had started to train him in Darkness magic. Still a puppet to a puppeteer. He took a deep breath and let it go very slowly. He had come up with a new spell back there, he couldn't remember if Lilith had seen it and he wasn't sure how strong Lilith was. It seemed as if she wasn't that strong but her soul felt differently. Ocean of the Last Dreams had been something that seemed impressive to himself. The wave of darkness that was around five meters high as well as five meters width. You could see faces in there, that looked like they were screaming but it made no sound. He wondered now when he thought about it, he turned his heel, if these faces were the people he had killed. It was so useless because he couldn't remember them. Maybe Akiva did but you should not mix up these two as one. They were different, found other things significant and insignificant. They found other memories more important. They were two sides of a coin, not two sides the same. They were darkness and light, the summoner and the Darkness Master. This could mean that Beastbane had no control over the summoning magic and that pissed him off more than it really should. He walked back into the kitchen where Karou was still eating very fast and he was sure she would puke or vomit not much later but he let her be for now. He found himself a clean plate and a knife. He first poked the knife against his left index finger to see how sharp it was but it didn't even break his skin. This knife was a disappointment. He went to look in the cupboards and the fridge to see what he could eat, something like a slice of bread, a cup tea and some meat on it. He was done pretty soon with finding everything and set himself on the kitchen table that was parallel to the kitchen. It wasn't that big, two people could easily sit on it, three maybe but four would give you rather a small piece of space to move your arms to cut the bread or take your cup of tea. It didn't matter for Akiva was alone and the only one that had visited him lately was his mother. And he wasn't really waiting for another visit now he had changed. Besides he was a big boy of twenty three that could take proper care of himself.

He was a little lost in thought while eating breakfast, he thought about what he still had to do before he was able to leave. He should have come up with this plan a little sooner, because than he could have left during the dawn of the morning instead of in brought daylight. He had to be perfectly aware that no one was following him, but he got some spells for that. Some that made it rather easy to get away and other wise if that didn't work, he could teleport to another point within five meters, so why would he worry. He looked at the hallway where Akiva had left his walking boots, which was good enough again for now. He seemed to have the route pictured in his mind and he didn't need to visit the cave unless he might find the answer to his summons there but the place was a perfect hideout to train monsters. He would have to prepare a lunch and drink for there. Which was something he could do now after lunch immediately. He had still a plate and the knife. It would make it a lot easier if he would do exactly the same as what he had done now. He wondered if in this house there was a thermos flask in this house, so he could bring something warm like the tea he just had. He would first focus on the lunch, there wasn't that much in the apartment but enough to work on a proper lunch. Enough bread and some granola bars. He put the whole package on the table to pack in a minute because it was smart to take them all, especially if he was going to work with magic. He thought about finding a flask either in the kitchen cupboards as well back in the house where there was a storage and after finding something for a while he finally found one. He put it again on the table to work it out in a minute, he probably should first clean it. He found another bottle, a normal one which he was able to fill with just water and put it again on the table. He first would finish his breakfast before he would go and work on packing his bag. He had to put attention to what he was doing before he would forget something essential, such as the book about monsters or the souls. It would be stupid if he arrived there at the cave and have nothing to turn into summons.

So yeah it was almost time to go. He would have to prepare a lot and just be the most prepared person on the world today. He walked into the bathroom after he finished his breakfast to fix his hair with a little bit of wax and what else for stuff he needed. Since it looked like a kind of warm day today, he also decided after he fixed his hair that he would wear another shirt. He was rather vain so it was only normal that he slightly worried about his clothing. The only reason why he changed his t-shirt into a shirt without sleeves at all was because of two reasons and the second one was in case of an emergency. He would go train so his first reason was that it would be easier to move, since this shirt was not as tight as the t-shirt was and it would so be nicer to train in and in case he would sweat, which was highly possible, it wouldn't stick to him as dirty as possible. Second reason was in case someone would see the monsters, in case he was able to summon them, they would probably suspect him for a Dark mage. Which was highly possible but with this sleeveless shirt you could immediately see the dark blue imprint of the Blue Pegasus Insignia on his right shoulder. Which would make it a little easier, for he didn't suspect that he would continue to wear his warm black leather jacket because that would just melt him or so. He had to look good even though he was working on new and dangerous spells as well as summons. He tried to think hard of the last one he had used with Lilith as training, it was on the tip of his tongue but it was impossible to come up with. Oh alright, it was a barrier! He had never used barriers in his life before and it might have been smart to work with it before but yeah, who cared. He was simply a summoner and a killer before and now he was so much more. He was himself again. Reflection of the E.N.D. a second layer of skin that would come over his body and clothing to just protect him against some spells and it made him rather proud that he had actually worked on something so... insignificant? Well it was not the proper word but he had never worried about his own body, it seemed to be able to handle quite something and well even though he wanted to get better at it, he would make sure that he was first back to his original power. He had to had more spells and he had to find a way to unblock the blocking of the summons. He was a summoner for crying out loud and he deserved to use his spells even though he was Beastbane and not Akiva. But it was still the same person, the same body and they would work it out or well he would. He walked back into the living room and kitchen to grab a backpack that he put on the kitchen table. He threw the box with granola bars in there. He went to work on a piece of bread that he put in a little box and again put it in the backpack. He had found the thermos flask that he would fill with some tea, which wasn't the hardest thing to do as well the waiting for the water to be done on the right temperature, you didn't want to put boiling water in there, it would remain too hot. But he managed, he also managed two bottles of water and after that he was done. He unzipped the front pocket and found a piece of paper, or no it was an envelope. He frowned, not remembering who wrote him a letter and why he would keep it with him. Until he opened it and recognized the hasty handwriting as his own.

Dear me,

I don't know what will happen in the cave. If I lose my memory there are a few things important. That's first of all to find your house..

This letter was ridiculous, he had not lost his mind, he had lost his sane side called Akiva the loser, even though he wasn't at the point yet where he would do insane stuff, maybe even Beastbane had grown up becoming more responsible than before. Although he must say that if he indeed would lose his mind, it would be important to find his house again. So it was nice that the letter contained the address and it was also nice that the letter was still in his own possession. Imagine how embarrassing it was if someone else would read that letter. He continued reading.

So if you have found that later, that's great. You must not forget what you have done. My wish in the cave where you must have walked out or were just out was to remove my past. But it is not something to forget lightly. My father was a bad man, Joram Xerxes. He was a mafia head and I, his son, was his right hand for killing people that did him wrong. Twenty four we killed and these are all there names...

A list of names followed and Beastbane remembered them all. Akiva had never had the opportunity to remove his past. The Darkness had gone into Lilith probably whom collapsed, he had to fight against it if he didn't want to be overcome by the darkness that had lurked behind his back for so long. Not understanding that it was his insane self, his beast self that conjured upon it and finally became one which was the release of Beastbane again from the mind of Akiva. He had been the one to kill all twenty four, which was the tally on his hand, he actually liked that, the twenty four black bars on his left hand knuckles. Interesting choice, difficult to hide. He was now utterly happy that the letter was still in his hands, it was definitely a confession of murder and he wouldn't take that lightly ever again, it had been stupid. However the letter continued.

Please don't forget my mother, Festival Versaillus, whom we saved from my dad's killing instinct. She lives because of us but it's not something she has to repay because she already did. We killed Joram Xerxes in front of her eyes and she forgave us. She knows, you can always ask her and please don't forget. Even though most of these people might be idiots and simply doing wrong, they deserve to live. Your summons, Pam, Liam, Finn and Octavia are a part of those souls that we have gathered because we wanted to give them life again. When you get home you find those souls on the mantel piece in see through jars with little dream catchers in there. These are the soul catchers.

Ah good that he read this letter for he had almost forgot to take some jars with him. What about.. six? Yeah he would work on six, all of them were nicely labeled at the bottom of the jar, so he knew exactly whom he put in there and he remembered their names and crimes that he had committed. With six jars in his backpack and the book about monsters that he quickly added, he could continue reading again.

As I asked for my past to be removed, I hope we didn't forget Scáthach or any of the other people that I have met. I haven't seen Scáthach in a long time and it might be possible that she hates me for she had known my past but maybe the wish have affected her too, I don't know. Please find her.

Of course his wish didn't affect her because nothing has happened. The past was still there and he even doubt if it was able to be ever removed, he had done it, it had happened, done. He sighed as he continued reading for it was ridiculous but the end of the letter was coming quickly. He ripped it apart in two pieces and put it back in the envelope. He would burn it later, no one but him should be able to see the letter and he didn't want to risk to let it be found by anyone else. He went back into the hallway when his bag was finished packing. He made sure that Karou had enough to eat and drink and put on his walking shoes. He checked if he had everything, wallet in case he wanted or needed to buy something on the way back, his keys and the bag. He walked out of the door and closed it secure. No one should see him, so he immediately cloaked himself in his darkness spell. He would use his Curse of the one who hides which made him look different for everyone that was in a five meter radius of him. Which was very interesting to see happen, but he had no time for that. He had to leave and quick if he wanted to make it a much more useful day with progression for his own power and summons, he had to find his way, he had to continue to work with them and fast.

So with himself cloaked it would be an easy trip to get to the end of Hosenka and into the forest and mountains that were at the edge. Behind this edge of mountains and forests was probably the sea but since Hosenka barely cared for anything but Hosenka, or that's what he felt. It was a lot that was unknown to him. Akiva might find that frustrating but Beastbane found it even humiliating, the species of human beings in this town wanted to remain stupid for the rest of the world. There was a fight going on and Akiva and Beastbane loved fights, the thing is that they had to sit this one out. Especially because they didn't want to put any attention on themselves and the second point in this whole conversation with himself, where he convinced himself to lay low, was that Robin Goodfellow had said that the war or whatever it would be was not for them. Great that a Guildmaster like him would come up with such news especially if there were some that would be able to help. He wasn't talking about himself and he didn't know how Jace and Symphony were doing but it was just a matter of speaking, he could have helped if he had wanted to do that. He just wanted to fight which was probably a reason why he shouldn't join because than Blue Pegasus would figure out that he was a person that liked fighting. With this cloaked version of himself he could look like anyone or anything to other people that were in a radius of five meter away from him maximum. He could look like a child with red hair that was skipping through town, especially with his big strides it would probably be skipping. He could look like a nice young lady with blonde hair. An old grandpa with gray hair and this hunch with something that made him walk rather okay. He could like a strong man that had black hair and so on. He liked how he had come up with this and how he wasn't even sure that Lilith knew, it was a perfect hiding device that made him feel awesome. There was only one problem at this point... Apparently he looked like someone's dream woman, because the guy kept walking behind him. He wasn't sure if the cloaking would also work on his voice, but he stared in anger at the guy, and that should work for the cloaked version would do that too. As if it wasn't clear that he should leave them, her, whatever alone. He walked a little quicker and he started to wonder what the guy saw, just because he was interested in girls himself obviously. He wouldn't mind asking a cute girl out or even a mature woman because they were the real deal. But that didn't matter for now, it mattered that there was this crazy idiot in town that didn't leave a girl alone, that's at first not even how you made contact with a girl. He kept on following Beastbane, which pissed him off and you rather did not meet this guy in a bad mood. They were reaching the neighborhood that was rather empty and it was the first time that he heard this hideous voice of the guy, oh it was one like that. Asking him or well her, where a pretty lady like her would go alone in such a town.

The Blue Pegasus mage made a sign that he should stop walking for a minute and she turned around or well he did but to the pervert it was a she. He stopped using the cloaking spell, he could use his mana for better. The face of the pervert guy was perfect though, it was hilarious to see. "Too bad for you but I have to point out that this is not how you talk to a lady.." The guy fell over the word but that he kept repeating while pointing at Beastbane. "It's a spell you idiot." Akiva would have done the same but instead of using Darkness magic, he would probably use Pam, the Panthera Onca which was latin for panther, whom had Darkness magic so practically they did the same, although he probably had different spells He lifted up his left arm and formed an orb of around 20 centimeters in diameter, it was made of Darkness that was swirling through the orb which was clearly visible and apparently intruding to the guy that seemed to have no such thing as magical power. With one firm grip on the orb that was called the Swirling Orb he lifted up his arm and threw the orb right at the pervert guy. He hit the side and could see a lot of scratches and blood and bruises. "Now go on, run back home." The monster in him said with a soft purr in his voice and even though the pervert guy must be around his age, he turned around and ran away. Beastbane could have sworn he heard him yell for his mother or another name, Monica? If that meant he had a girlfriend, it felt necessary to throw another swirling orb to this guy. He was ridiculous. The only thing Beastbane did was roll his eyes and turn back his heel to go to the original road that he had wanted to go to, to leave Hosenka for today. Thanks to this little disaster, the afternoon was already creeping forwards rather fast, it must be around twelve thirty if it wasn't already one in the afternoon. Simply because he rolled out of bed at around eleven but that might even be later because he had lay there for a little longer. He sighed softly before he continued, leaving the houses behind him and entering the road only that would lead towards the forest that would lead towards the mountains. He had to make sure to pay proper attention to his surroundings, it was important that he would remember where he walked and where he was going, for it had been difficult to find the first time and at that time he had an extra pair of eyes with him. He couldn't remember if she found the valley first and he the cave later or the other way around. It didn't matter he had to find the valley and actually quickly before the day was already out.

In the beginning of the course the walk wasn't that difficult, mainly because it was a straight line from going into the forest to walking to the mountains. Maybe a little bit wobbly because of the fact that the floor was not equal straight at every point. There were roots and pine cones hidden underneath the ground that made it a little more difficult. Although it was still not even a challenge. Beastbane with the shoes on that were made for climbing made a quick progress. He almost ran through the forest, only to saving himself being quicker at his destiny because of the fact that he didn't have much daylight left to travel through. Of course he had brought a torch but climbing mountains in the middle of the night was not the best idea that he had and he would rather not do it anyway. When after twenty minutes he finally reached the mountains, he didn't feel like he went fast enough, mainly because going through the forest had already taken him twenty minutes, how much longer would the rest take. But he went on quite fast, he knew exactly where to start, he remembered the clear spot of going into the mountains and could almost picture Lilith behind him or in front of him, depending on the situation they had in before. Most of the time he had climbed, making sure for her where to put her feet. Again the slave, the puppet that was used to check what was save. She had been only using him for her own safety and he had fallen right into that when he was Akiva. Believing that she was nice to him when they had something in common. She recognized him as the murderer that he was, knowing his stance in life and in his body, she had seen it all. The reason for that was because she killed herself too and not on purpose, neither like him. Although hers had come more or less like an accident, though he was rather unsure if it really was an accident, his came with his insanity. Because he wanted his dad to be proud of him. Such a stupid excuse. He could never believe it himself but it did happen and now he had to live with the consequences. Which was the twenty four souls that he killed and six of them were in the backpack that he was carrying on his back.  In their small jars containing the souls of six of the people that he had killed when he was eighteen. He wondered how long they could think for themselves, if they still have the ability to think and if they wanted to be free.

He almost slipped at that point because he didn't think about what he was doing but about the souls in his backpack. He hoped he would remember the symbols and the words very well because he had never written them down. The main reason for that, as smart as Akiva had been back than, was because of the fact that it was converting souls and everyone that was a bit teached into the way of the dead and the living would have known what it meant and would know he was using souls, not for what purpose but they would know too much that he wouldn't like to share.
The Sun was getting up higher and actually burning on the tiny little being that he was compared to the mountains that were huge. The lucky thing was his memory that seemed to show the way he and Lilith had walked. He wasn't sure if it was his darkness magic that simply lead him to this point but he wasn't also sure if it really did matter, he had to get to this point anyway and he didn't plan on stopping. He wasn't scared of the darkness anymore, it was now a part of him and he would use it very well. Alright, when he slipped and almost fell on a sand scorpion, he used his Exterminate spell to simply kill the beast. He could have hit it with his shoe or with his fist, but he was afraid if he would use his bare hands that he might get stung. It had been in the heat of the moment that he had done it and the ray of darkness was almost bigger than the animal. Well it was ten centimeters width so that was just alright but a meter long and it drilled into the ground. Beastbane didn't look back and simply continued walking. He had no time to be distracted, he had summons to make. It was getting warm but he didn't want to rest, he got enough time for that when he reached the point where he wanted to be. The point of no return, where he could satisfy his thirst while making the symbols on the ground. If he wouldn't spat water on that. He felt his hair flopping down and the sweat running over his back, it felt horrible and he would be fine to tug his jacket in the bag if there was space but not yet. The souls had to be gone. Finally after what seemed to be a total hour of walking, so around forty minutes, he reached the steep way down where the valley was and the cave where he returned to be himself. He kept one hand on the mountain side while he tried to slip and slide back down to the green grass of the valley. Which he was very glad to see close by without tripping, which still was a danger until he reached the ground. He looked to his left, where he remember where the cave was and ignored it, the spot where he ended up now, which was practically hidden from sight, he had known the road thanks to the memories, was open. It was first grass and than the trees started. He would start the ritual pretty soon.

So there he was, in the valley with the cave where it all began for himself. Where became the new version of himself. Although it was not a complete process yet. He had this glitch moments where he went from himself back to Akiva and the other way around. He had become weird but that was absolutely normal for an insane person so why would he cry. He had more to do than sit still and fix the error in himself. Which would be weird since he wasn't able to punch himself and including the fact that he might need Lilith to fix it. Or he would go and go back into the cave, he had never done a wish since he hadn't even been able to touch the red ruby. He could maybe ask for control over the body, instead of Akiva. Or well he was still Akiva obviously that was still his name but the fact was that he was a monster, a man without sanity and a better name: Beastbane. And this Beastbane had to figure out how he would be able to use Summons again for that was what he planned to do now. With the warm sun on his back, he stripped of his t-shirt and backpack and put them on the ground. He had found this open spot, which was easily found in the valley. He had slide down and it was there immediately, the many trees had started a little later. The thing was that he needed to draw symbols on the ground but there was a lot of grass. He would have to get rid of that. He made sure that his backpack was secured against a tree, he wouldn't want the souls to break out of the jar now and attack him or so. He had read horror stories about that and he was in danger of having that to him but up till now it never happened.

He first got the bottle of water out of his bag and a granola bar and worked on that because with the heat during the climbing and not taking any moment to rest he was getting maybe close to becoming dehydrated and he obviously didn't want that. When he finished that, he had figured out and calculated how big the circle he needed had to be. He wouldn't remove all the grass but only the patches where he needed to draw symbols. It was already tough to do that but he didn't mind, it was for a good cause or so he hoped because up till now he had not been able to work on his summons before, he was unable to call upon the lovely animals that Akiva had made. A panther, raccoon, kangaroo and a Eurasian Jay. Which he even made a promise to for finding his brother to see if he was alright and check on his parents. Ugh why would he even do that, the thing was that the soul in the bird didn't completely understand he was dead, what was his name again? Finn or Flynn Siddheart? Did it matter, he had never heard of the name Siddheart so no problem for him. Although... he stopped in his track, wasn't that guy, one of the Paragons from the Magic Council... wasn't he a Siddheart? Nah probably something that was close to it, Siegrain or so. He didn't care he was just confused and had too much work to do before the sun would go down and he had to leave this spot again.

The symbols that he had to drawn where part rune, part hieroglyph, which was the most difficult part and some other weird symbols and characters. He remembered that the research for this had taken ages to complete, that's why he wasn't a summoner for so long, maybe two years, that was entirely possible. That would mean that the souls that were locked up were at least locked up for five years but Beastbane didn't even feel sorry for them. They all had deserved to die for doing wrong and they had know the danger. So it was their own stupidity. The stupidity of Akiva was the idea of giving them a longer life, no matter in what form. The idea of Beastbane for this summoning idea had been easy: Build your own army out of the people you killed. What could be worse? Especially if he didn't allow the beasts or monsters as he would like to make them now, talk. Because that was a horrible decision for Akiva to make. Beastbane wouldn't allow that, he would give them a mind of their own and they would be able to talk but they would forget their past and present. Because he didn't feel like incidents like Octavia, who was angry at him mainly because of the fact that she couldn't be human again. oh please stop the crying. He found her probably the most annoying of all four.

When he was done with the eight symbols that were all part of the circle, he sat himself on the symbol that was on the top. The king hieroglyph and the rune that would mean his real name. There was one jar in the middle on another symbol that he had drawn, it was not so much with a meaning as well as a sort ancient magic form that made sure that the glass jar wouldn't break nor fall. It was something like a good superstition that seemed to have worked for now. He went to sit cross legged, with his hands open, meaning palms up, to the sky that was still visible from his point on the Earth. He first had to sort of meditate and find the way to open up the way of the rift to be able to make summons again. He had the book of monsters next to him, but outside the circle because it shouldn't be changed into a summon with it. Although it might be a curious way to view that, he rather would just hand the book back to the Library of Blue Pegasus instead of getting trouble out of it. Although he doubt many people would borrow that book or lend it whatever you wanted to say about it.

He had his eyes closed and first focused on his breathing. Counting to six when he breath in, counting to two for holding it in and counting to six to breath out, counting to two before starting again with the same ritual as counting to six to breath in. He would feel himself sitting on the Earth and feeling the wind whipping around him, pulling softly on his hair and the wind rustling in the trees. He was open with himself and there was no problem at this moment with Akiva. He opened the portal to his Magic, for he had learned how to do that and he felt his magical energy swirl around him in the air but still he was unable to form the summons that were either the panthera onca or the procyon lotor. Now he focused first on one but when Pam didn't show, he tried Liam but the raccoon stayed away too. As if they were in a slumber or something, they seemed to be too far away. He opened his ice blue eyes and focused on the jar in the middle and thus right in front of him. He kept sitting the way he did but started to softly chant under his breath. "Excieo" he muttered which was Latin for Summon and he continued with the wind only catching a few words from him. "Rex", "Eres", "Parere Bestia", "Jeg innkalle deg min beist, din konge." And more words flew through the air but no one would be able to hear them but the wind and their spirits. Because no one was that big of a fool to follow this man, nor quick enough to catch up with him and no one was able to understand what he was saying anyway.

He knew exactly what animal he pictured for the soul that was called Henry. He remembered the man, slick hair that was put backwards. Pure white hair, that's how blonde he was. Always wearing a suit because of the hotels that he owned and look at him now, it ended up for him in his grave. Those hotels were sold by the Xerxes family and he had been sucked up in a soul catcher, a glass jar with a dream catcher in it. Life was definitely not fair for him. He should have known that making mistakes that would be a risk against the Xerxes Clan was dangerous. Akiva had visited him, already more twisted than with his first kill. If you looked closely you could see that the dreamcatcher still had some water drops on it. He had killed the man by throwing him into the pool and he jumped after it, he first got rid of his own shirt and the jar was close at his hand, it should be completely in the water. He just had to push Henry his head underwater for long enough to make him drown, he had been stronger than this puny person and so the soul died and splashed into the jar. Right now with the killing in the pool of a hotel, he knew exactly what to make of this soul. This guy deserved three heads so he could see everywhere he wanted, he would forget he was the owner of many hotels, that was one of the new symbols, runes and hieroglyphs. He would forget that Beastbane had been the one to drown him and he would forget he was human. It would be funny if this person or well monster would get water powers, simply because it would be ironic for his master. The soul got out of the jar and was a blue colour which was interesting to see. The soul remained hanging in the sky while the monster that he created with his creativity in his mind would form around it. Only the soul split up in three identical parts because of the three heads and the body would form at the same moment. It was a huge monster, the lower body with the legs was around 1 and a half meter tall. Which was already five sixth  of himself but the heads and the necks that they were on were around two and a half meter, making this animal a total of four meters tall. It was quite a thing to look up to especially because Beastbane was sitting right now. He stood up and looked at the proper picture of the Hydra that he had just made. It was a wonderful thing to see. It was so big and it felt much powerful than what he could remember of the four animals. He walked around it because it wouldn't move until his command, that would be different in battle but Beastbane couldn't stop grinning, this was a brilliant thing. He looked wonderful. "Now my dear Hydra. It might be smart to help you training a few things. So you are ready once the battles are necessary." Beastbane was glad to have found this spot, where to hide a four meter tall monster like this with three heads, one that looked left, one that looked right and the last one looking straight at him. "I am your master, I created you and I have given you the power of water." The Hydra nodded, apparently not sure how to talk which reminded him of Finn but on the other hand, he might not have a good voice or didn't know how to work out to speak from one mouth at the time instead of three. They would work on that now.

Beastbane had just been able to use his magic to make another summon. Even though he had not been able to summon the old summons before but he got a pretty good reason why. He find them useless, not the idea that he had in mind when he figured out that the two of them combined became a summoner. Monsters were more his things than wild beast and let's just say that a small 36 centimeter bird wasn't even that scary as a 4 meter tall Hydra. Which is what he had just done. He demanded the Hydra to stand still while he moved towards it huge front paws or whatever you would call his feet that would be able almost to smash a small tree without training. Beastbane grabbed the jar of the soulcatcher and moved it right back inside the backpack that was securely standing a few feet away against a tree. He put the empty jar back in there, in case he ever needed it again. The jars containing a sort of dream catcher were never really cheap, although he wasn't sure if he would be able to use this one again because of the fact that it had water in there. But he also shouldn't just leave it be at this random spot. If someone found it, he wouldn't want to know the consequences. His finger prints were all over that thing and it screamed Dark Magic. Which was prohibited obviously for it caught souls of people that were dead. He sighed and turned back to the Hydra, it was good to see that he didn't move and stood still at the exact same spot that Beastbane had left him. The bad thing was maybe that his heads were looking everywhere but at him but he would give the beast a few more minutes before he would have to focus back on his master. He would train his magic here, together with his Darkness Magic that he now had mastered so he could help them really train. He got the attention of all three heads and he would first work out that the Hydra would manage to speak but the only thing it did was screeching and it might be smart to not do that at this point. The Blue Pegasus mage asked him nicely to shut up. Even though he was the master and even though Akiva had been the loser side of himself, he believed that working nicely and securely with your summons they would work better and faster to your orders. They had to get to know each other and work out how the two of them would be able to work together. He didn't sit down as he had done when he was Akiva and had just created Pam and Liam to sit on the same height as their eyes. The Hydra had to bend his heads closer to Beastbane to make sure he got every idea that he wanted. He thought about what kind of attacks they could make, since it was a working progress of the two together. He came up with the idea of a water spell, the concept of water might not be that different from Darkness but it was not the potential of the magic that was the way but the concept of how it worked. It was purely elemental and so Akiva could use that to help the Hydra to work out his magic. He took a deep breath and thought about what they could do first. He thought of a water canon that the Hydra could shoot out from his mouth if he was able to do so. Beastbane looked at their surroundings, wondering where they could shoot or what they could use as a target. "Wait, I've got it."  He said out loud which made the three heads of the Hydra immediately turn towards him, which was an extremely weird feeling to have. Mainly also because of the heads being identical and it was weird to have three of the huge things looking at him. "I'm going to cast a spell and shoot it at the mountain, that will be your target spot that you have to hit, alright?"  The Hydra let out a scream but he also nodded so Akiva clearly got that it was a yes. This was a good opportunity to see if he really had control over all his Darkness Spells. He formed the shurikan which was a darkness star above his right hand, when he finished shaping it and it was done and pointy enough he threw it at the wall of the mountain that was around three meters away from him. He was actually rather glad that he managed to form the Blade Storm in a few minutes without failing, that would look stupid in front of his newly made summon monster and he should have thought about that before he tried but alas it had already worked. "So that's the spot you have to hit." He said and the Hydra nodded again.

Of course training a newly created thing was very weird, the Hydra opened its mouth expecting the water to come out like it was nothing but Beastbane had to explain how to summon his magic. He took a few steps back from the Hydra so he didn't have to bow down too far and closed his eyes and activated his magical energy that swirled around him like an invisible wind, it shortly turned dark blue to be visible for the Hydra which understood the concept. It closed all six of his pair of eyes and tried to work on his magical energy, there was a song going out and Beastbane could hear it in his head and it seemed to be the Hydra. It was a beautiful hymn and he was surprised that such a monster could make the sound. But he didn't plan to say that out loud of course, the summon was still able to work out to kill him, it might not be smart to create a summon so strong but he dared to take the risk. But there was a dark cloud of magical energy around the Hydra that definitely screamed magic. He grinned and looked happily at the Hydra that opened one of each set of eyes to see if it worked. "Now go on!"  Akiva said loud enough for the Hydra, who was standing straight up with his necks to hear him. The Hydra opened one of the mouths of his heads, the middle one and a fair looking ray of water came out of it, but it didn't came that far and it wasn't that big yet. "Again please!" Beastbane screamed to get it over the huge noise of the Hydra's disappointment. The right mouth's turn and this time the water was a straight line that went on it's way to hit the target but since the beam was only a meter the Hydra had to get closer to the target, he looked sad at Beastbane, whom found that really funny but he managed not to laugh. "It's fine, come on. Left try."  He winked, more out of reflect than to put this beast at ease or to flirt with it. The heads nodded all at once and got back up straight and looked at the target. The left mouth opened and this time a one by one meter vortex of water came out and had this meter to hit the wall with quite a force that left a few rocks falling out of it. Beastbane jumped up in excitement, "Great job buddy!"  and he clapped, he went to his bag to get something to drink. He thought about what he should teach to his new buddy right now. He would at least call this spell Hydro Pump, that sounded awesome, but the thing was that he had a bit of an inspiration lack because of the fact that he had worked on his own spells and summons recently but he never thought about their spells. The heads turned to look at Beastbane, with the questioned look what to do now. That's when it got to him, if he build a wall, than why wouldn't his summon be able to do it? That was so obvious, the next step was already right on course!

So three times was the charm and luckily for him the Hydra had three heads so technically speaking that could count as still the first try. He was alright with how the training went more like how he summoned the Hydra in one time and how he had immediately fixed it in the way he liked it. His creative mind had not been damaged when he had entered and exit that cave. His eyes went to the opening of the cave, which was hidden perfectly by some bushes and tall grass and because it was low, the cave entrance started underneath the mountain itself it seemed, explained the cold water what they had to swim through. He could still get the shivers of that when his body remembered. He had come to the valley here to work on making new summons and because he made them into monsters, beasts that weren't your daily aspect he thought it be smarter if he would move away from the city to another spot. Thanks to his personal request on finding this cave and the wishful ruby inside there, he had found this spot, the green valley in front of it where was enough space to hide and train monsters like a four meter tall Hydra.

They had just trained a sort of water cannon that might not reach so far but had a lot of potential when you were hit by it. It was an one by one vortex of swirling water and he was sure that he didn't want to be hit by it. Teaching a Hydra, which was just created and had no ideas of the world yet, nor couldn't really ask at this point. Was difficult especially if you were not able to show him what he had to do or what he should have done. But he now had at least an idea of what to do. But because the Hydra had to perform his powerful Hydro Pomp as Akiva had really named it, three times. He had to rest a little, it was his first day and the first twenty minutes so he had to get used to restoring magical energy also known as mana. He wasn't sure if the first failed attempt would count but definitely the second and the third obviously, so he let him wait before Beastbane got into action again and stepped up in front of the beast. Shame there was no little rock where he could stand on, so they would be closer to eye to eye but yeah well, he had tried to make a big monster, this was the consequence of it. With his old summons he never thought of protecting them, which was a rather stupid idea but he had made them faster so they could try to avoid by moving out of the way. He doubt that a four meter tall monster would be that quick to move away from spells that were going quicker so he would have to work on that. But Beastbane had a great plan, because he had a wall of Darkness in his own batch of spells, he could now really show what the Hydra had to do. "Watch me alright, I'm going to show you, how you make a defending wall." The Blue Pegasus mage said so the Hydra would pay full attention to him. Which was easy because in the ritual with the symbols and the weird language he had already done that too. He had made sure that the monster knew who was his master, not that he would make it eat humans. That would be too barbaric, although he doubt this thing would want cheeseburgers, he could eat in its pocket dimension where it would be stored like every other summon. Even though summons had a life form and some of them could talk and say what they wanted, they were still created with magic and it would not be even possible to have them on the Earth surface for forever and leave alone all of them at once. He would die, that was sure. Even though he might hold on quite well because it seemed that he had been able to let his magical energy source grow with the making of new spells, it was still rather difficult to have them finished and stay for a long time.

He had been lost in thoughts and standing there that he looked back at if the Hydra was still looking at him and he smiled to make sure that it was alright. He moved his hands in front of him and almost like he clawed up a darkness wall he pulled it up. 3 meters tall and 3 meters width. Maybe not high enough for the Hydra to hide behind it, but he would be able to bend his neck a little. "Now picture yourself, building up that wall, alright? And it's fine if it isn't working in the first try. This wasn't my first try so it was easy." Which was a lie but he had to support the monster, he didn't want a depressed one or one that thought he couldn't do anything good enough, so lies were alright. Maybe he should keep the Hydra with him when he would make a new monster because it would be nice if they would work together but on the other hand, he rather worked with them privately the first time because it would make him understand the beast better before he could make out of their characters. The Hydra was one that was rather dumb, not that Henry had been so dumb but technically speaking he wasn't the smartest human on Earth either. He couldn't even cover his tracks. He wanted to sit down because the amount of magic that he was using took a toll on him but he couldn't, he had to show the monster who was the leader and more powerful, even though this beast might be stronger in some aspects but that's the way Akiva trained him or well made him. He had thought that his Hydra would be good at attacking and now he was altering it a little to make him good at defending too, he needed at least one summon that could do that. He would work on a little bit more but he at least liked the way this was going, the Hydra narrowed his eyes, he had no hands to move up or down so that wouldn't work but slowly and steady, at the point where the Hydra was watching, there came a small layer of water that rose up from the surface of the Earth. "Go on, you can do it!" Beastbane said to encourage it, it was already getting a good head start and out of nonchalance, he leaned against his own black wall of Darkness, that looked like it was swirling and moving but it wasn't, it stood still at one solid place. The Hydra let out a roar and the little line become a bit broader, or well quite some, it looked to be about two meters now and than slowly and steady it rose, it became higher than Beastbane at a point and almost as high as the Hydra but it stopped at what would be around 3 meters of height. The Hydra seemed to be disappointed that he couldn't hide behind it so easily himself. "No, no don't worry buddy. This wall will help protect you for only a part of the fight but it can also help you protect comrades." He hoped to put in the idea of comrades would satisfy the Hydra and it sort of did, or so he thought. Two faces looked at each other, the left and right one, while the middle let out a small roar that sounded alright. As if the Hydra tried not to scare him, which was impossible but still. "Do you mind if I try to see how strong it is?" Akiva asked as he pointed at the wall, it would be of course a disappointment for the Hydra if Akiva was able to take it down in an instant, but since Akiva also had a lot of power, he knew he could do it. "You can take the black wall." He said pointing at the one he made himself, which made the Hydra a little bit happier as he moved towards it. "On my count." And so Beastbane counted down and the two of them both threw a spell at the same time. Akiva throwing his Crystal of Anti-matter against the Water Shield while the Hydra used his Hydro Pump to destroy the Death's End spell made by Beastbane himself. The walls were destroyed in an instant and yet the two of them could laugh about it and the blue haired mage tried not to laugh too hard because the laugh of the Hydra was a little bit more hilarious than simply the destroying of the walls. "Well, let me think. What would we make next."

So after showing him the wall, The Hydra had made a perfect one. To see how strong it was and to see how strong the attack of the Hydra was he had made a deal. Beastbane would try to destroy the water wall that the Hydra made and the Hydra would bring down his wall of darkness called death's end. Deaths end needed a power of 19 to be destroyed but as he could see how easily the Hydra had used his hydro pump to get through it, Beastbane could see that the animal was stronger than he had thought at the first try. That was absolutely a good thing. So it was either trying another defensive spell, such as the dome that he had in his arsenal to see if the Hydra would be able to destroy that thing in a blink of an eye either. The dome had a durability of around 25, at least six points stronger than the wall. It might be an interesting thing to see. However Beastbane first wanted to come up with a new attack, that he might check to see if it was strong enough to destroy his dome. Maybe that would also mean that he had to get stronger himself. It was a good point. The water wall that the Hydra had made was destroyed by Akiva in one try. Thing was that he could feel that he should have not used a weaker spell for he wouldn't get through it. It was possible that the range of his spell and the durability of the water wall were only one apart and Beastbane and Akiva had just been lucky. He had to look stronger, he didn't want to think about the after effect if the Hydra would understand that the weakest link between the two of them, was the master. But than again, there would be other ways to fight that and avoid that. He would continue to train through out the day, and not only to make the Hydra so strong but also to continue getting stronger himself, as well as trying to get more than one summon fixed. He looked at the ground where the Hydra had been standing, seeing that the water had swept away a few of the symbols, meaning he had to start from scratch again.

He took another sip of water and looked up surprised when the Hydra stared with one head towards him while simply walking away with the two other heads up front. "Where do you think you are going?" he said, surprised that the beast walked away towards the exit of the valley, or well that's what it looked like but it stopped at the entrance of the cave and let one of its head get in there. He heard something that he recognized, because he had heard Karou doing it too. A tong licking up water and it finally made sense why the Hydra had walked away. It was a little bit difficult that the Hydra couldn't talk but at least it could sense water, which was very handy too but he wouldn't say that out loud, something he would keep in the back of his mind to remember. He grinned, it was something. He walked back to his bag and put the bottle in. He stared at the flask of tea that was also in his backpack and stood up straight. He stretched, cracked his back and his eyes fixed on the Hydra. He had just come up with something. Another attack that they could try, but instead of using normal water, they should use boiling water. If the Hydra was at least able to make that. He had no idea for he never had been close with someone that used water as a magic.

He went to stand back on the little hill and watched how the Hydra, would come back when the beast was done with drinking. "I came up with a new idea." He said enthusiastic. "We start the same as the Hydro Pump." Beastbane made a new hole in the wall of the mountains with his Dissonant Globe which would again be the target. "I want you to try and make it but now coming away from your mouth. So don't spit it out. Understood?" The Hydra, not the smartest soul and beast looked a little confused if you could say that but also ready for duty. He used the Hydro Pump but before Akiva could say anything he stamped on the ground and shook his heads, as if to say that he knew what he was doing wrong but he was practising, which was an interesting point of view. The second head would try, moving a little bit behind the other heads, probably to make a pinpoint from where it should start and it came a little bit in front of his mouth instead of out of it and the three heads looked with almost a grin like thing towards Beastbane, whom nodded with a smile. "Now further away." he pointed out, he would first grab the distance, than he would figure out the way to make it boiling. The third head tried and again it came a little further, but the beast almost took a step forward to hit the target, since they were still unable, being three meters away from it and the Hydro Pump only being able to reach a meter. They as in the beast and Beastbane shouldn't be a monster that could only spit a meter away, what kind of appropriate monster would that be. The Hydra seemed to become irritated, but finally it seemed that it worked, when it became angry. The hydro pump which was turning into a water nebula was getting towards the three meters and Beastbane praised the monster again. They second head tried again and this time it could even reach further. They were still working on the whole process until the Hydra heads were able to make it eleven meters far. Which was the same distance that Akiva could do for his spells, so he was satisfied with this idea. But he wasn't done yet with this spell, it still had to become boiling water, which he said out loud to see if the Hydra could understand how to do that. Instead of letting the beast whose first twenty minutes on this Earth surface were quite a work out, be left in the dark, he grabbed his flask and let some of the tea in the cup that came with it and held it in front of the Hydra. Whose snake like tongue dipped in the hot water with a flavour and pulled it back, but seeming to get the idea of making it warm. The Hydra's heads turned back towards the target, the whole in the wall, which had become a little bigger than the size of the Dissonant Globe and thus the Hydra started again, using the Water Nebula spell, and able to reach it because he screamed from his mouth, the attack he made popped up somewhere else, it was a rather interesting concept and once it hit the wall of the mountain, steam came off and Beastbane his grin became broader. "That was wonderful, great job buddy!" He said again, he should have brought food but than again, what would the Hydra eat apart from humans like the folklore said. He would just feed him hamburgers and make the beast happy with that, easy.

Now he only wanted one more spell and since he was rather fond of the way the Hydra worked, especially because it was his first summon counting as Beastbane and his first really strong summon if you counted as Akiva. That said, they should be able to protect the beast from much harm to come, not that he was sure how he would work out the other summons but that would come soon. He first wanted to make sure that he was able to get at least one summon that was able to protect himself in two ways, so in case the wall would break, the Hydra would have enough time to recharge it and protect himself and his comrades again. But a barrier would be an easy idea. So instead of sitting there thinking about another offensive fourth spell that he would teach to the Hydra, he would go for a barrier. He waved his hands above his head so the Hydra would pay attention to him again instead of the wall and the quite big dent that the two, more the Hydra, had made into it. "I want you to be able to protect yourself. And I assure you, this would work on your whole body. It's like a second layer of skin. I will show you with myself." Because he was able to use the reflection of the E.N.D. easily. Since it was made for this and he had already used it before, back with Lilith actually on the same spot or well around here. So he focused his energy on his magic, and slowly and surely it went around him as a second layer over his clothing and body and head. Because of the fact that his barrier was made with Darkness, there were a little bit of dark waves in it, which was now a perfect way to explain to the Hydra how it worked instead of just showing something that was invisible.

The Hydra focused himself again, closing his eyes and again the humming started, where the water came from the floor, but this time around the four huge paws and the tail, slowly moving up and up and up till it reached one and a half meter and covered at least the lower body parts of the Hydra. But the Hydra didn't break his concentration, it still kept humming and it still kept his eyes close where he continued humming and working on the rest of the spell that was slowly rising and slowly coming close to his three heads protecting him completely. Which was absolutely great and Akiva disspelled his own and clapped. "Now just keep in mind that this doesn't make you invincible. You should still try to dodge when you get an attack towards you as much as you can. Alright?" The Hydra nodded and so without announcing it, Akiva threw his Harvester Scythe which at first the Hydra dodged and than became upset with Akiva attacking him but he assured him, it was just to make sure that he wasn't a reckless beast and would accept everything for granted. "I'm going to attack you again, just because I want to see how much it can take. This can hurt, are you ready?" Beastbane asked and the Hydra nodded, unfortunately for the blue haired mage he missed the eyes that were showing something like satisfaction. Akiva tried his Ocean of the Last Dreams that would send a big wave towards the Hydra. But in a matter of seconds, the water wall stood there again. Beastbane couldn't help but grin. "Good idea." He said and he was at least glad that the Hydra didn't just accept to be hurt, which was a good thing even if it was an attack from him. The wall was destroyed thanks to the wave and a little dent was made in the barrier but not enough to break it.

He only wanted to see again how strong the Water Nebula was because of the fact that he couldn't just calculate that from the hole in the wall of the mountain and so he asked nicely if the Hydra would attack him. The beast seemed to be not that happy with it in the first try but Beastbane would assure him that he would use a protection on himself, he just wanted to know how much the beast his power was and he could only calculate parts of it if he was able to protect himself, of course now he half cursed himself because of the fact that he had just disspelled his own barrier, but that thing was too weak to be used and so he would use his dome, that he had not made yet. So he asked the Hydra to wait until he would give the signal or well the mark to go. He focused himself on creating his screaming dome around him. Apparently the Hydra didn't like the dome because of the sound maybe and he took a few steps back, but small ones even for a Hydra. He knew sure as hell what to do and he could still clearly hear Beastbane his voice demanding him to attack him. So the Hydra's middle face, the first as Akiva called it opened his mouth and created the boiling vortex of swirling water like a whirlpool that he send to his master's dome. Which exploded as soon as the water hit him and Akiva was hit as well. Now the calculation began while the Hydra was looking for any wounds on his master's body. Which there wasn't any. But it was close enough, some spots on Akiva's bare chest were red but not hurt anymore than just a colour change of the hot water. This because he had already build up quite some resistance. This meant that the power of the Hydra was around 36 which made him rather satisfied.

He sat himself down on the ground working out his pocket dimension for the summons. He wasn't able to reach the other four but he must be sure as hell be able to build a room and a place for the Hydra. Which was much bigger and luxurious than the other ones but Beastbane didn't care as he opened his eyes when he was done. He explained to the Hydra that they were done training for now and that he would be sure as hell summon this guy back to train again as soon as he could but he had more things to do and more comrades to create, which the Hydra seemed to understand perfectly well. Beastbane walked to the tall and big beast and placed his hand on the hip or knee probably of the monster. "You absolutely did fantastic. I'll see you soon." With those last words, he let the Hydra disappear in the blink of an eye into the pocket dimension that contained a lake and a cave for him to stay in and enough water and hopefully food to keep him satisfied for a long time for now. He still had five other jars of soulcatchers in his backpack and he wanted to make sure to at least finish two more. He looked at his watch to see that thirty minutes to forty had passed and he had around two and a half more hours to finish this. Maybe he had to give up and decide to climb during the twilight, but he would see how fast this would go. Because he didn't like giving up and with the Hydra everything had gone well. It was time to rebuild the circle and summon the beauty that had once been Alyssa, but now he would make her look a little bit different. She just had to accept it, oh wait, she wouldn't remember she was human once. As easy as it should be.

So to continue making new summons Beastbane would have to start from scratch again, this because the Hydro Pump or the water Nebula spell or any of the other water spells that the lernaean Hydra had used had washed a few of the symbols away, but it was not a problem. Even though Akiva had never written the symbols, runes and hieroglyphs down, to avoid being busted for binding souls to summons and so on. Beastbane could remember them perfectly. Maybe he just had a good mind for these kind of things, just like remembering faces from every member of Blue Pegasus. he mainly did it for himself, he must know when there were newbies and traitors among them, especially because he needed to protect himself from being found out. Which was important if he didn't want to end up in prison in Era or any other place where they had a prison. It didn't matter, it would be over for the both of them so it was smarter to do this. Even though it cost a lot of work and he needed to repeat the faces over and over again, it was something funny to have in the guild. As soon as you mentioned a name to someone that was fairly knew but they didn't know you. The look of despair as they thought that they might have forgotten you, which wasn't even an option for they never met before.

Beastbane started to draw the symbols, runes and hieroglyphs from the beginning again because it was better to do it all at once instead of restoring a few and missing a fatal mistake at the next. So he did it, patiently and quite well remembering what everything looked like. As soon as he was done, he went to find the jar that he wanted. Alyssa, the secretary of his father. The stupid girl had stolen money from the vault even though his father had more or less trusted her to count the money. She had been so stupid at buying all kind of stupid stuff. New expensive jewelry and new expensive make up and clothing. It had been so obvious. Even though Joram Xerxes was not the one paying attention to it, he had people for that and so Beastbane had told on her and thus Joram found out. Since Alyssa had been a good secretary apart from that, he wanted her to be locked up and think about her actions instead of being killed. That came after three days when she more or less became insane, seeing spiders everywhere in the room. Out of mercy, Beastbane had snapped her neck, but told Joram that she came at him and that he had done it to prevent her from ever killing him. Petty lies from a petty person but his father believed him none the less.

Because of her fear for spiders, he knew exactly what he would make from her and he was interesting to see if he would be able to do it and change her into a half spider, half human. As soon as the glass jar that contained a soul of a person, this case Alyssa, in the soulcatcher. He went to sit on the same spot as where he started with the Hydra. He had to make extra sure that Alyssa wouldn't remember her time as a human, either she would freak out for being a spider now and maybe would kill him and he didn't feel like having either of those options. He softly started to hum while sitting cross legged on the ground. Still bare chested because he was working very hard and the sweat that went over his back was not something that he wanted to ruin his shirt with. "Excieo" he muttered which was Latin for Summon and he continued with the wind only catching a few words from him. "Rex", "Eres""Parere Bestia""Jeg innkalle deg min beist, din konge." And more words flew through the air but no one would be able to hear them but the wind and their spirits. He was already so tired and his magic was draining him and he also had to admit that he had already done quite something, but it was not enough. He would be weak if he wouldn't have many of the summons that he wanted, so he had to go on and make them before he would lose a battle soon and he rather did not have that problem.

A body appeared right above the jar, although it was quite high, maybe almost just as tall as him. Eight pair of hairy black legs appeared, those legs were around 1.40 meters with the big lower body on top of it that made up for quite some size. he was glad that he extra pointed out that she was a human with speech, created now and not something from before. He wouldn't call her Alyssa after all, she would be Arachne, named after the story of the goddess Athena, who was challenged by a greek woman called Arachne, that said to be the best weaver in town. She made Athena angry whom changed her into a spider to weave forever. He himself was just five centimeters taller than the lower body of the Arachne, and he was just able to tiptop and check over her lower body to see anything else behind her, but he also saw the creation of her upper body. Dressed as if she was in tight leather, the body appeared, normal but with what looked like a black jacket protecting her arms, breast and shoulders. The middle part was still just human skin. Her face was that of Alyssa, pretty as a flower although her hair was longer and there were silver streaks that looked like they came from her web and her normal green eyes were now blood red. But she was still pretty none the less.

When she was finally done and he could let go of the feeling and the possessing over her. She sort of turned around to him and bowed. She grabbed the jar and walked quite fast on her eight legs towards him. Handing him the soul catcher. "Hello master." she said with a sweet low voice that he could relate to how a spider would talk. It was like honey and he wanted to keep listening to it. "My, my." the Arachne said and she kept bowing, but this time, being quite bold, pulled up beastbane his chin with her hands and pulled his lips closer to hers, where she kissed him. He felt a piercing pain, although barely painful, in his lip and felt the blood trickling down. When she let go and went back to her original height she looked sad and happy at once, licking of her own lips because of his blood. Which he had to suck up  himself for his lip kept bleeding quite fast. "Sorry." she said again with the voice like honey, which gave him the idea he couldn't stay mad at her. She was Alyssa her soul alright, for she had tried to flirt with his father just to get money, this time he wasn't sure what it was but he was sure he had the right soul. He walked to the bag and put the soulcatcher back in there. Well at least this was his second summon. And this one could talk. "Damn you are handsome." She sure wanted something from him and he wasn't sure if that would meant eating or simply hunting flies. She would have to listen to him, so he didn't care at all.

He noticed that Arachne wanted something from him and the problem that he wasn't sure if it was his skin or just something else made it a little annoying. It was almost tempting to tell her or slip her a memory of that she was afraid of her own being, spiders. But that would make it too big of a problem if he ever wanted to use again. He just ignored the flirty temptations and stopped his lip from bleeding by sucking on it for a few seconds and looking back to the spider humanoid. A crap reason was that she was bigger than him and that made it annoying for him to try to be more impressive than she was but he didn't care. He would show her who was the master, although it was a sort of programmed in her when he created her. The soul with the body he had in mind, yes he was getting back to his rude self and the fact that he had used her fear to create herself was just mean but the good thing was she didn't remember. She didn't remember herself freaking out because of the spiders in the basement or the fact that he snapped her neck. He would prefer her to talk though, it made it a lot easier and she was saving his ego by calling him handsome and such. But still it was the same soul as Alyssa and Arachne was probably trying to get something out of it. He walked around the huge lower body with eight legs of the spider and the lower body parts, she was almost as tall as he was with only her lower body and that made it a little bit difficult but she was able to lower through her legs and look him in the eye with bright bloody red eyes and he was actually pretty satisfied with what he saw. He needed to convince this huge spider that it was time to train spells. He was wondering what they could do together since didn't create the magic that the summons had, it was linked to their soul and they were finally able to create it. Sometimes it just made sense, he would expect darkness magic from this beast.

He tried to get Arachne her attention, she was checking out herself. He waved his hand, "Arachne, it's time to pay attention. We need to train, after that you can do other things as check yourself out. We need to prepare for the war that one day we might fight." She seemed to immediately point her red eyes at him and looked up and down. "Now that sounds interesting." She said and she licked her lips, just as the legend of the Greek Arachne, she was probably eating humans and he was happy enough that she didn't even get an opportunity to eat him. For if she did, she would die herself. He would at least at some point rage a war against Blue Pegasus, he wasn't yet how he would or when and if he would wait for Lilith her answer to it but he wasn't dependent on her, he could do some things himself and Blue Pegasus was asking for it.

Arachne crossed her arms and stared at her master while Akiva tried to explain what was smart that they could try, he would rather see some offensive, the Hydra could protect her and that's why he should learn to combine them. It might have been smart to have the Hydra somewhere around. He would find a way later, they had to work all together and he was wondering if it would work the same as with the normal animals if he simply put the beasts together. He was their master so they would have to obey him at the very least. It would be an interesting part to watch but not yet, he had better things to do. "What about a dome, but not for protection but-", Arachne put up her finger and pointing at his mouth as if he had to shut up. "Where we poison the air." she said as if she indeed knew exactly what he was thinking but he didn't want to think too much about that. They would have to use the spell on him but Akiva could handle quite something but they needed to know if it worked and the idea of catching a bird and putting it in the poison dome only came a little later. So the first time the Spider Dome was used on Akiva it took Arachne quite some time to make it bigger to capture more people before they focused on switching the air to the poison, it came from the pulsating purple web on the dome. When Beastbane started to cough, Arachne carefully stopped the dome so he would get out and that's when they get the idea of bringing an animal in there. They first caught a small bird with Arachne just stretching her hand and catching it in a web that wasn't that strong but the bird wasn't strong enough. The bird died rather quickly and they went to look for a bigger animal in this little valley in the mountains. With Akiva his darkness spells they could knock out a fox and put it in the Spider Dome, which was good enough for it seemed to work perfectly. Arachne smiled rather satisfied but Beastbane wanted them to train a couple of more spells and he was sure that Arachne, now focused on the power of magic would agree with this and so he tried to come up with a new idea to use as a spell. He wanted to combine the monsters but it might be smart to have Arachne being able to defend herself too, especially if the Hydra was knocked out or something or busy on the other side of the guild or any other place that he might attack or any other group of mages.

Akiva sat down on the green grass that was still beneath him. The place he was standing on, the patch of grass, was luckily not wet from all the water attacks that the Hydra had used today, only but a few minutes ago. He was yawning, energy of actually magical energy were sapping out of him because of the magic that he was performing. Luckily he didn't have to use his magical power to perform the spells of his summons, they were perfectly able to that themselves and that saved him a lot of trouble if he wanted to continue. He needed to do so much more and keep a clear head with it. If he wanted his summons to work out, he actually would need everybody with a defensive spell but would that fit everyone as in the monsters, because he knew perfectly well what he was going to do. With only the ability of teaching his summons four spells per monster, he needed to carefully construct which ones. Especially if he planned to use them together, he could save on some magical attacks as others were able to do that and others were able to defend. The Hydra could defend itself with the barrier but he also had a wall, which made it easier, but for Arachne he didn't plan to make a barrier because he could use her for the poison spitting that she had just shown. The Spider dome was very interesting and he wanted to do more stuff like that. Still maybe it was smarter to give Arachne a combination of everything, make her some sort of general, see that's what happened when you boost his ego. A vain main like him was easy. He didn't want it to become so easy but Arachne could speak his language and she could maybe talk like a monster and make everything clear to everyone. He nodded to himself and looked up to see Arachne stare at him with her bright red eyes. She turned her head from left to right and seemed to be very interested as well as just thinking. He tend to ignore it until he finally was done with the planning of her spells. He was still her master so he could fill that in for her. Now she would be able to help and mostly, he wondered suddenly if she was able to read his mind and already knew what was coming. Especially because she knew exactly what he wanted with the Spider Dome. But when he got up his words weren't stolen yet by her so he wasn't sure what to do. But she crossed her arms and stood up straight on her full height of around 2.66 meters. Which was rather impressive and she was the tallest girl he ever met. Not as Alyssa, he only couldn't remember that well how the girl looked like. He had killed her more than five years ago, give him a break.

"I thought, that it might be smart to give you a spell of each of the categories in the magical world. Or well four of the most important once for battle." She nodded slowly and he could see her fingers move as if she was counting and there was a frown in her face because she couldn't figure out which four he meant. Which was good for it would mean that she indeed wasn't able to read his mind which was very important to him. He liked solitude and that also meant a mind that he owned himself, no one else in there and lately: no thoughts of other girls. Although he had thought about the red head today, he was alright to get her out of his head rather soon. It was Akiva that thought the most about her and he was slowly turning into his old self again, distance, rude and just focusing on the work that he had to do. "So for now I want us to work on a wall. I think it's easier to protect yourself that way." It might have been smarter if he created a little spider, not such a big thing as Arachne was, but the size made her a little more impressive and scary, which was a good thing. He wasn't a monster summoner for nothing, or well he was now, since he had changed. His eyes darted to the entrance of the cave where he had been long ago. It didn't matter anymore, he would leave soon again here. He only wanted to fix Arachne and the rest of the summons that he had in mind. There were four more soulcatcher jars in his bagpack and he had to work them out otherwise he would get no where. He only had four summons before. The Hydra was the fifth and Arachne the sixth. That meant that he still had eighteen jars at home and they needed to be made into summons too otherwise he would be having evidence and souls in his house for the rest of his life. Or well that's what he was afraid off. He yawned again and stretched his legs now that he was standing. He wanted to say more but Arachne had turned her side to him and focused her bloody red eyes on a specific point on the ground and her hands stretched out in front. For her sake he hoped she never had an itchy back leg, she would never be able to reach. He wasn't sure if Arachne was better created but she was much better with spells. Maybe not in the blink of an eye but in a rapid time there was a small wall appearing out of shadows and swirling Darkness which almost looked like his own dome. She kept on raising her hands and the Spider wall began to expand until it was 3 meters width and 3 meters high. It was a perfect size for Arachne to be able to hide behind, especially if she kept her legs a little closer in towards her body. He was rather satisfied. However he didn't clap for the spider as he did for the Hydra, mainly because she was smart enough to figure out how it worked, the Hydra, because of not having the ability to speak, looked a bit more stupid to him. It would be a pity according to himself if he praised Arachne, while there was still so much for her to do and to work on. They would have to hurry if he wanted to continue with the four others, mainly if he wanted to get out of this valley while the sun was still up.

It was getting more difficult for the young man of only twenty four summers old to focus. It was because of the heat. He was in the mountains and even though it was spring, there was no shadow on the place where he was standing. He was in the mountains, in a valley where he had turned back to himself again, where he had changed from his pathetic appearance as Akiva to the fullgrown man Beastbane that he was before. It was weird because Akiva's mindset was still there but he wanted to break it. He didn't know why or how but it was interesting and weird because of the fact that it felt like he couldn't control himself and become himself anymore. It was the Darkness inside him that made it like this. He had become a monster himself, maybe it was part of how he became a summoner. Which was actually very logical with all the killings and saving the souls but putting them in jars and let them stand around in his house. Maybe, without himself or anyone else noticing, he had been hearing the voices of the souls all the time and had that made him insane again. He knew that when he was just a boy, it had been more or less his father pushing him till he continued killing people. He had been weak, a weakling very much because he did the killing, afraid that it would otherwise be his own life that would be taken. Which maybe sound ridiculous when a parent would do that but his father Joram Xerxes had also, almost killed his mother. She had refused to give him money from her wealthy family so yeah, it made sense that Akiva was afraid. But Beastbane was no longer afraid, he was training to become much, much stronger and focus on winning the war. He would be the mafia leader if he wanted. But he didn't want that. The only thing he wanted was a peaceful life, which was kind of difficult when you were a fugitive, but let's forget that for the sake of staying sane. Right now the heat was making it more difficult to focus and it was also difficult to think what new spells would be good for Arachne to use. She was a smart monster and she knew now that he wanted to use for different spells to make her even stronger. They had just practices the Spider Wall, which had worked fine but he still needed her to have two more spells. He was thinking very hard and he thought that maybe he should not make a debuff and a buff, he should give her another offensive spell. But than again, what would he stop using. It was that he hadn't made the other summons yet and hadn't thought about this procedure and this train of thoughts yet because it would have been so much easier if he had done that. If only he had just written down four spells with maybe keywords for every summon that he was going to make. Instead.. he grabbed six jars, didn't even check the name and worked on it. He now had to come up with what he wanted to make, what monster and see what power they would possess to work it all out.

But he had to continue and instead of making an offensive spell right away, he decided that he should make a debuff. Which would be the best idea, but there were so many options. He had started to pace around, back and forth, and he had no idea. He could feel, though, Arachne her blood red eyes on him and it made him half uncomfortable. It was more Akiva that was. Not sure if he even could work with monsters. The two of them should really harmonize their brain. Mainly because they were one person, it shouldn't be that difficult. With a sigh he finally thought he had an idea and went to stand still in the heat of the sun to look at the black 2.66 meter animal or well monster that was in front of him. "I think I got an idea." He muttered, clearly being heard by the spider because she crooked her head to the side and stared at him, waiting eager for his answer. As if he was a fly in her web. But he would learn that it wasn't like that. So he tried to explain how a debuff should work. He only had the idea of the affect it was up to Arachne to think about the looks because she knew better what she was capable of. The two of them came up with a solution rather soon and they would obviously have to try out the Sticky Stuff spell. Arachne would spit, which was really gross, a white web like ball that would explode in a 1 by 1 meter area and form an almost invisible web. Akiva had to try out if it worked on him. If it was able to keep him on the web, it took them three to five times before she had to grab Akiva underneath his arms and pull him up as strong as she could. It was not that they wanted to stop it from there but they wanted to see if it worked. It worked fine and than Akiva broke the spell of the rooted, with his Darkness magic so he could leave. It went rather well and he was pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Only one more spell to go and it was around 20 minutes later. He still could do some more summons today and be out of this valley during the time the sun would set. He would probably than go to the training ground of Blue Pegasus to fix some of his physical side, because that was getting even more important than he thought it would be. But he wasn't there yet, he was way ahead with thinking. First Arachne and after that he still had four summons to go. Which made him already tired of the idea, including the fact that he would have to climb a part of a mountain to get back in Hosenka. The joy, he would probably sleep very, very well tonight.

The last spell they made gave him a great idea about another spell they could make. He had made up his mind, he didn't want to make all four important spells, like offensive, defensive, debuff and buff. It was probably smarter to give her two offensive spells just like he did with the Hydra. They all needed their own way of protecting people and work hard to obtain stuff and become a worthy warrior to him. He wasn't sure how he would do that but he also didn't feel like he would be able to summon the Hydra again. He needed food and stack his magic power especially if he wanted to continue with making summons. Maybe he had to do only two more here and make sure he kept his energy level alright to get out of the mountains. Yeah that might be a smart thing, he could gather nano-orbs to get new magical power and get to the training ground of the Blue Pegasus Guild. He would find a place where he could train and not be seen there. Since barely any of them did train. He might have to leave, rather sooner than later. The thing with leaving was that he wanted to be together here with everyone that stayed in Hosenka, it was a perfect place to hide and it was rather alright to not get bored. There was enough to do with the spa's, casino and many other stuff. He wondered if he would fit in wherever the Sabertooth Guild was. Besides, he would fit there, because he liked fighting. Instead of Robin Goodfellow whom pulled himself out of any battle that was possible. It was ridiculous and sad. He wasn't sure if he would be able to stay under his command. But the thing was no one would be looking for a killer in Blue Pegasus and sure he was vain so it wasn't like he couldn't be here at all. But it was getting annoying that no one was working as well as he was. He was getting tired of being or acting like a empty head. He wondered if he should just leave and find Sabertooth or wait till faith would bring him there. He might be alright in there, he wasn't sure what to do. He could always pick the option of not being in a guild at all but he was probably better at hiding in a guild than be on his own. Although he was never alone, he wouldn't be.

He had been searching in his backpack for some granola bars that he had thrown in there and he decided to drink some tea. It wouldn't take too long to find but he had been left in thoughts so it took a bit longer and especially a bit longer than Arachne liked. But she didn't say it. He could just see the annoyance on her face. "Fine, next spell. I think we should keep the basic stuff of the Sticky Spell." He said which was alright, maybe not as strong as he hoped but she was doing fine. She was an easy learner if you compared her to the Hydra. He was munching on the granola bar when he was thinking about how the spell should look, they could make it sustained like the sticky stuff spell, that would lose some potential but it wasn't bad. Especially not with the power that Arachne seemed to throw and focus in her spells. He was sure that it would even be smarter. He nodded to himself and once he finished the granola bar, he talked out loud about the plan. Of making a Sticky Shot, where she would create a ball like web, from around 30 centimeters in diameter. That if it would hit, it would stick to the person and burn a part of the skin away. He grinned because it was an absolute good idea and Arachne seemed to like it too. They would take a tree as an example, for Beastbane rather not be hurt. They divided the spell in three steps. The first was to make the orb or ball of web, which wasn't that difficult. Second, it had to stick to the tree, which wasn't that difficult either and third it would have to burn with enough power. But that seemed to be no problem at all either as the bark of the tree was immediately disappearing.

When that spell was done, the two of them would train on a different aspect, namely physical. Although he didn't mind if she wasn't able to punch a lot, he wanted her to be fast enough. Like a spider. One moment you look at it and a second it's gone. Well good for him she was a spider part. Her eight legs shouldn't be a problem but she had to work it out how she could be faster. But after a good ten minutes training she was faster. He had to keep his eyes on her but he would know where she was once he had an detection spell going on. He was done for today, he was good. Well done with Arachne. He would have to get started with the third soul, which he had not thought about. He wanted to focus his attention on Arachne. He thanked her for the training and said she would probably be of good use rather soon. She bowed for him and he let her disappear into the nothing, where he had to sit down and think about her dimensional pocket and make it just the way she wanted. She might not be able to hear him talk but she sure as hell was clear to be heard from his side. She was asking for a lot of things but thank god it was made with imagination and he was soon done with her room. When he finished he sat hunched down, trying to catch his breath. He had this inner struggle as well as just a problematic way of loosing magic power too soon and it could kill him or burn him up but he knew that he could continue a little bit more. Maybe not two but one but he would try. He rather had two. And he knew exactly with whom he would start. Charise, because she would probably cost him the most energy if he would make her just the way he thought about it. He sighed and didn't really look forward to it. But it would come.

Dear Charise was next. Although she wasn't so dear and Beastbane had to make sure that her jar was in there. He had roughly checked the names and there was no one else that had a name close to Charise or not that he could remember. He put some out and found her at the bottom. Her soul was a little different from the others. Where there was one ball of some sort of colour, which was probably the basic colour of their auras, Charise had six small orbs that were all some sort of yellow with black spots. Maybe her soul was dying, he had no idea if there were black spots when he first caught her but it didn't matter. Charise had been a bitch to kill. She was a little schizophrenic and maybe not so little because there were five others from the original. The original Charise was rather nice but one of her other selves was truely annoying, she was the one that was blackmailing his father and thus the reason why she was killed at first. She had no magic at first but it seemed that one of the five others had developed the possibility to use magic. It was rather intruding because none of the others five were able to use it. He wasn't sure what it was, archive, illusion magic, anything really. But she found out the truth about the Xerxes clan and so Akiva had to hunt her down. Being one of the last that he killed, he had been a true hunter, already a true version of whom he was now, even more from whom he was now. He had found her soon enough but had struggles to kill her, he didn't know how she did it but Charise was able to switch between her personalities which made it very easy for her to attack, since the others knew where he was aiming for, they could have seen it coming. She had screamed so hard that he had been afraid people and especially some Rune or Royal knights would come to find them. He had not shown her that he was afraid, but why did he had to find her in an alley on the street at daylight. He finally had killed her by snapping her neck, it was rather difficult because he had to make sure that he didn't think about what he was doing. It was probably her magic to read people their mind. When he captured her soul, they already were split into the six orbs. These six orbs might proof their worth today.

He checked the circle, which seemed to be still intact after Arachne. She had not used this spot to train her magic and he was rather grateful because he didn't feel like doing it again. He probably would have to after Charise, he wondered if he would be able to control all six of them. He might work on that later. He went to sit down again, on the same spot where he had already sat down twice. It was on the rune that was originally translated to master. The jar with the six orbs was in the middle, maybe not on the specific spot of the Hydra and Arachne but it was the idea. He would start the ritual again even though he could feel enough energy draining from him. He would have to do this especially if he wanted to use more summons rather soon. He might have to leave sooner when someone else would figure out whom he was. The tallies on his left hand or the knuckles of his left hand, didn't help too much with the idea. "Excieo" he muttered which was Latin for Summon and he continued with the wind only catching a few words from him. "Rex", "Eres", "Parere Bestia", "Jeg innkalle deg min beist, din konge."  He had to do more, he had to bind the six souls of Charise to one, not that he wanted one. Charise was the perfect soul to use for swarm summons. But apart from binding the souls he didn't want them to know that they were the same person, he would use the word sister in Latin, to form the idea that they were sisters instead of one person. Besides he would make a few more alterations for he didn't want too much trouble because of the schizophrenic problem. Slowly there were forms turning up in the sky almost two meters above the ground. There were no hands, they formed their wings, their feet and legs were that of a bird including the claws. Their torso and head were the only things that were human. Although there were lines on their face in the same bright red colour as their wings that made them look like they had a beak. It looked perfect. Feathers covered their upper legs and their hair was a tiny tint of red lighter than their wings and feathers. The Harpies were born. It seemed that he hadn't worked out his spell rather well, for they couldn't speak but that was not a problem, as long as they could use magic. The Harpies were made as a decoy though. They didn't have that much health, he could feel that, he knew that as their master. He was at least glad that they couldn't talk. Imagine Charise her one personality over six times and now screeching like Harpies.. but wait that brought him on an idea. He clapped in his hands to get the attention of all six of them, with a broad grin on his face. "Ladies. It's time to fly." Although they were already two meter up in the sky, he wanted to see how fast they were. With a speed of 5 and a half meter per second, they were rather alright, he would want to see them faster, that would be rather interesting but he couldn't have that yet unless he would train with them. So he would do that later. He had more stuff to do, such as the spell that he just thought about.

The blessing of not being able to talk was fabulous. Akiva or well Beastbane couldn't really wish for anything else, the idea of Charise, six times, talking to him and screeching and so much more. He was rather satisfied but there were more things needed right now. Things like spells and other summons because time was ticking. He needed to focus on so many more things that he didn't have time to look at how the sun was turning. It had been more than half an hour to train Arachne, but it was because of the fact that he had no idea what spells to use. For the harpies, Akiva was only able to come up with one spell that all six of them would have to learn, but if they would do it at once and if only one would be able to do it, maybe the other five would be able to do it as well: since the soul was the same. He hoped so, because that would maybe finish this summon in ten minutes and he would be able to focus on the next one and after that he would leave. He would have to make the last two at the training ground at Blue Pegasus. Which wasn't that much of a problem. But he didn't want to be seen, he might demand from anyone in the area to not go to the training ground because he needed a maximum of concentration. That would make sense, for it wouldn't be a problem if someone saw him training one of the summons it was the creating of the summons that would be an issue because it were souls and not simply creating them with a key and a contract or like how people made drawings and dolls. It was using real souls into the creation of his mind. And because he was able to simply use the creations of his mind, he could read upon legends and make them come true, he would be the real Beastbane this time, his name would be connected to the summons. If he would make twenty-four summons and he would want to have more, he would have to kill new people. Unless he would focus on his Darkness Magic which was also an option. But he liked his summons just as much. They were more interesting and it might make him lazy for he didn't have to do so much. He should create more protection, so he would be able to defend his summons himself, that would be a better risk than having them use one spell or two for defending even though he could use them better for attacking. It was a brilliant plan, but he first had to focus on other things.

One of those other things was right now the creating of the spell for the harpies. The name was already very clear: Silent Screech because they didn't say anything, still a blessing. The idea was making a vortex out of wind that would be one by one meter that would be able to be send to the enemy by using a hand, foot or other piece of the body as movement. So a wing or only just a finger if the harpies would be able to do that. He tried to explain it rather well but he had not really the idea that the harpies understood what he wanted. One of them was the real Charise, he could see it because she had darker feathers in her red ones and she looked a little bit taller than the others. The leader in any case. He tried to communicate it through with Charise and in the end, she seemed to get it and she decided to give it a try, which was a rather good thing. For it worked, the vortex might not be as big as he wanted but she would get there perfectly well. Charise didn't have enough magical power to perform it again so he moved to the others, one by one they performed the spell exactly the same as the Charise leader. Which wasn't good enough but he prevented himself from swearing. He waited till the Charise Leader had enough magical energy to perform the spell again, this time perfectly the way he wanted. So he knew he didn't have to let the other five try because they would copy the leader. He did it for the sake of keeping them happy. But just like he expected, they performed it rather well, the same way as the leader. So it was done and he could start to form their dimensional pocket as soon as he placed them away. Which went rather quick. Beastbane made trees in there and formed a small forest where each of the Charise could make a nest in one of the trees, they could pick themselves and he just provided them with the necessary stuff. When he was done with that, he started to notice the chill on his back. The sun was already passed the mountains and would not take too long anymore, maybe twenty minutes, before it would be below the mountains that covered the valley. It would be fine to continue for a short while because once he would be out the valley it would get better again, the view. He quickly put on his shirt again and placed the empty Charise jar into the backpack again. He switched the jar for the one with Meredith or Melody, whatever her name was, he didn't feel like checking the jar twice. He knew it was her, he could just feel it. It was time to make another new comrade, someone that hopefully would get along fine with Arachne. He never understood why he worried so much about what the females thought about each other. Maybe because males were a lot easier in that state. And in general.

It was not the time to worry about the fact if Meredith and Alyssa would get along. They would have to if he was there and besides he wouldn't lock them up in the same dimensional pocket that was asking for suicides and deaths. He would first have to create Meredith and even though he had an idea, the book with monsters, that he had brought along, didn't give him the right idea. So he grabbed the book, found some paper in his bag and a piece of pencil and started to draw the idea in his head. This was the first time he really did that and wondered if it was necessary. As long as he was sure he would get the idea right. The problem was that thanks to the book his idea was a little bit mixed. He wouldn't want a monster with one leg and one snake tail now would he, that would make her a very easy target. So he had to get it right and focus on that picture, now he wasn't a really great drawing artist but as long as he could only picture that it was fine. So he switched the jar of Charise with the one from Meredith. Oh yeah he remembered her very well, her attitude. Her pushing her glasses better up her nose, it was all something he remembered and thus he knew exactly what he would make her. If he simply could ask someone if they would relate Meredith to such a monster, he could imagine all of them saying yes. He only had to think more about spells and time was running out, he would have to hurry. But he would first sit back in the circle, on the symbol that meant master. He would start again with the Latin and all the other languages that he had to made his own to be able to create the summons in a way he wanted. He had known from the beginning immediately that this was black magic but being Akiva he had meant it very well. It was that or let them die forever and he didn't want that. He didn't want to kill them in first instance but his father had not given him a choice, it was either that or it was dying himself. He found death very scary and the idea of being dead was even worse. It was still making him nauseous when he thought about it so the idea of dying was still not an option.

He sighed and went with his right index finger over the tallies on his left hand knuckles. He felt a little guilty and stupid that he had made them. It had been in an ill movement, when he, Akiva, was getting crazy from the Darkness following him everywhere. Licking his lips as if he planned to eat him. Beastbane could imagine that you would fall for something like that and he agreed, he didn't want to forget what he had done, it didn't made him actually proud but it shaped him in the way he was and how he become. The Darkness was inside him now and had made him again the same, made him maybe whole again instead of suppressing the person he had been all the time. He had been a killer, he had really killed people and because of that he was now a summoner. Not only that though, thanks to the adventures in the cave he also gained the power of Darkness Magic.

With a sigh he started the ritual again, with the words there were like his own. Poor Meredith, turning into a monster. Although she wasn't that sad or poor because she wouldn't remember. She would be actually more or less born like a new person and had nothing to complain about. Especially not if she would be one of the most powerful, only if she knew what working together would mean. But if all his summons didn't or a few he would make sure to drill the instructions into their heads. Meredith had been like the concubine of his father. Which made Beastbane wonder if Festival Versallius had known, that he had another woman that he slept with. He shouldn't care about that, both him and Festival were released from the man that was Joram Xerxes and it was no need to dwell back in the past. With the information that Meredith gained thanks to being in the bedroom, she got money to restore her company, although she got money from Joram to fix it too. She was becoming too rich and too smart. So she was killed, very easily. Right now the woman was turned into Medusa. She was around 1 meter and 72 centimeters tall with hair that consisted out of green hair that had snake heads at the end. He wondered if the snakes would be able to talk to her, but he sure as hell couldn't make out a word out of all the hissing. She was not wearing clothes but had a pale skin that looked broken and cracked at some spots, her top consisted out of scales that looked like she was wearing a strapless bikini top. The bottom of her legs was turned into a thick tail of a snake that continued for another half a meter. He would say that she was rather beautiful and her eyes that looked like that of a snake. Brilliantly. Instead of kissing him the way Arachne did, Medusa seemed to be more of one that knew the ways of the world: "Massster." She hissed, her tongue the same as that of a snake and hissing having problems with the s. He wondered if she would be able to smell with her humanoid nose or if she needed her tongue for that. Which made him realize, why did he never make a detection spell for any of them. That would be on the list, after those six he would have fixed now and Medusa was already number four. He would have to hurry with her training especially if he still had to think of some spells. He could maybe use the idea of Arachne, something like a Rooted spell as well as a Debuff. He would probably make a good effort with that. He had to think and he had to hurry. It was getting colder and he had to put back his shirt on, which he had done before he started the ritual. He would have to get out of the mountains safely. No idea what kind of monsters would live here and he didn't feel the need to meet them.

So he had to hurry and well that made him a little bit stressed. He had two more jars to go but he had already made up his mind about those, so that was a good thing but he didn't have any idea for spells for Medusa nor the others. It was getting later by the second, time was ticking and he could almost hear it. Although what he heard was Medusa her hair hissing. Great idea to create her like that, bravo. Not, he wasn't sure if it was smart or had any use, if only they were able to be some sort of detection! Crap that's what he would need to make too. Maybe a third summon for later, if he would be able to get a hold of a jar. He already had a person in mind that could do it. He yawned, he was getting so tired. His energy level was getting so low and he still had to climb the mountain. Well that would make his resistance grow, or he hoped so. He was barely able to hold off anything with fists, you would think he would. Maybe he could, maybe his boxing teacher had just known all the great weak points of humans. He probably did. "Fine there are a few things I want to work with you own Medusa. I know it's late and that you are just created but if we work fast and closely. I bet we can fix it in no time." He wondered, Meredith had been very smart so Medusa must at least be of the same intelligence level of her original soul. Medusa nodded and  came a little bit closer, handing him the jar that had been in front of her. He was rather happy, she was the only one that did it and those soul catchers have never been cheap. He thought about the legend around the Gordon's. Especially Medusa whom could petrify people with her eyes. They should be able to make a spell like that just for the sake of the monster that he made. It was nice if the Legend were for eighty percent working on them too. So he spoke his thoughts out loud. He had made a lot of spells today and he was a little fuzzy, so Medusa could pretty work it out. "What about thisss, massster?" She said and she turned her eyes to the mountain side. The part where the Hydra had practiced too. She narrowed her eyes shortly and in front of them a set of her green eyes showed up. He frowned and walked towards it, even though it was one meter and 30 centimeters wide, he could see that it covered an 1 by 1 meter area in total. They looked like pretty green eyes, exactly like her own, with the pupil of a snake but he found that pretty in general. "It'ss jussst an illussssion, Masssster." She hissed at first, "It will do a crusssshing damage, once it goesss through you." Medusa waited properly before Akiva was out of the way. With a wave of her right hand, the eyes went to the mountain point and simply disappeared through the wall of the mountain. However almost directly, it took only a few seconds, the mountain started to rumble and a few of the rocks fell off. It was the effect of the spell. It was difficult to get the point of how it worked if she directed it at the mountain. He was going to regret this but he wanted to know how it worked on a person. Medusa was a little reluctant to use it on him but he assured her she was fine. Maybe a good idea for a healer summon later? He wasn't sure if there was a legendary monster good for that. He wasn't even sure if he was able to do that but he would figure that one out later. The detection summon might even be more important than a healer. He was sure he could take a lot but he also just wanted to know how strong Medusa was. What better way to find out than being hit yourself, he took a deep breath and stood in front of her, his arms spread wide. "Give it a shot." He said but she wasn't really all that happy about the idea and he felt a little bit sorry for her. He had never liked Meredith as a person, she was really bitchy and even though she was like this cute little kitten in front of Joram Xerxes, as soon as the man was away she bitched and snarled at everyone close to her. How could some man marry this woman. Medusa was definitely a different person and he was glad for he more or less made her that way, that saved him trouble for being able to work with her.

Medusa narrowed her eyes again and moved the spell immediately to him, he might have wanted to use a barrier but than he wouldn't be able to feel it. He was able to adapt to fifty percent of the spell, his own body could handle but the other fifty percent was quite some damage and he fell to his knees. It would not be a problem to take if he wasn't so damn tired. Medusa came sliding to him very quickly, having her hands and arms stretched out as if she wanted to hug him but he waved it away and gave her a thumps up. "Very impressive." he smiled, hoping she would calm down about the idea. He had to take a few minutes of rest, which was fine for they could start thinking about a new spell. But he first wanted to ask Medusa some questions. He wouldn't have thought Meredith a good team player but since Medusa handled things differently, like a secret hidden personality of Meredith, he had to ask. So he told her about the other summons and asked her flat out if she would be able and liking the idea of working with them some day. Not today, today was just the two of them and that might happen a lot more often but if they were going to fight at some point against enemies, he couldn't handle the fact if his summons would fight along each other. Now the good thing was that the summons would have to listen to him, so as he gave them an order they had to obey, but it would be nicer if they could just hang out and be alright with it. Medusa seemed to think about it for a minute before she shrugged, "I don't sssee a problem to why we would not be able to work together for you, massster." It was really good for his ego that she called him master, it was rather flattering in his opinion and he might like Medusa the best for that, not that he wanted to have a favourite like Akiva did. It was obvious that it was Liam. He wantd to train them equally and use them as equal as possible. Either alone or in pairs but he would see how he would do that.

He now first had to focus on Medusa and tried to make another set of spells with her. They had done one, so only three more to go and it seemed that Medusa was rather easy. She gave him the feeling that whatever he would come up with, she would agree. Which was definitely a secret personality from Meredith but he didn't want to complain about that, he liked this version way better. So he sat himself down, with his back against a tree to rest from the damage he had just taken, he could still take a lot more so it was no problem and he thought about it. He wanted something like a debuff, especially because he had not used that with Arachne but on the other hand the rooted spell that Arachne made, something like that was good for Medusa too. Maybe she needed a bit of both. Yeah he could do that and make another offensive spell to make up for the Leraean Hydra whom had two protective spells, on the other hand he also had two offensives. He shook his head. "What about we work on a debuff, a debuff on speed. You can lower the speed of your opponent by throwing some sort of spell, try to figure it out for yourself. It's difficult to explain how to make something but if you get the point. You can again use it on me. It will do no harm but just slows me down." Medusa nodded and she frowned a little, which even made her more prettier and he probably thought that it was from the legend, she was a pretty woman. She made a little ball or actually it was a rock, a small stone that she had just made with her hands holding them close together. It appeared out of no where and she was rather surprised by it but seemed to be rather happy that she did it. Beastbane was happy that she know how to control her power more or less, even if it surprised herself, she seemed to make it none the less. It was a stone ball of around 30 centimeters big and she was afraid that it might hurt him when she would throw it. But he believed that it would disappear like sand or so. When she threw it at him, he made sure that he was standing up and it hit him on his stomach, indeed the stone simply turned into sand and disappeared. It felt like someone was pulling him down very hard and he tried to move a step in front. Now he wasn't one of the fastest people, he should work on that too but not yet. He had better things to practice but it was difficult to only walk already and he grinned at Medusa. "It seems that it worked." It didn't last too long but that was fine, it was more of a trap that she could use to throw a bigger spell, but than she needed that to do so. That meant that she needed another spell than the Stone Eyes and the Earth Rumble that they had just used, the question was only, what. So the two of them sat down and thought. When Beastbane scratched his chin to think, Medusa mimicked it. She wasn't as dangerous as you would think she would be. But maybe that was because they were alone. He actually hoped so, he made monsters not kittens. He yawned again, so tired and the heat had done something too. It was getting closer to dusk and he really had no time to sit and think as he actually had to hurry and climb out of this valley and hurry back to the city which was not an option as he was still training Medusa and he still had two more summons to go. He was really sort of praying and hoping that no one would pay attention to the training ground of Blue Pegasus as he would create his summons. Maybe he would make a dome of Darkness around him to fix all the spells. He shook his head softly to bring himself back to the scene, to the right here and right now. "One more offensive and maybe a rooted spell. It's the same as the idea of a debuff but instead you root them to an object or ground. Which might be easy for you with your stone magic." He looked at Medusa and really was glad that her eyes didn't turn people into stone just like the legend. He would be constantly made into stone himself. Medusa came with a suggestion and they would try the rooted spell soon after that.
